Big Brother is Watching

Jesse is sick.
He is on sick leave from work. I volunteer to go get his prescription filled and pick up a few necessities at the grocery store... Diet Mt Dew mainly.
Karist was sleeping and Danny was playing on the computer so I took Devonae and Elli with me so Jesse could rest.
Elli had a major meltdown in the store.
Fussing, whining very loudly.
Climbing out of her seat. More fussing and whining, this is loud enough to be heard all across the store.
What she needs is a good spanking ... but not in Walmart.
Get to the checkout line I am left with the decision of taking her out of the cart which she insists she wants or a possible trip to the ER.
Out she goes.
What she really needs is a good spanking...but not in Walmart.
She starts playing with a toy camera in the line and Devonae helps me by staying near her while I pay.
Cashier takes a good look at me and asks to see my credit card and checks my signature.
All paid up I can go home and be done with this horrid trip.
But noooo Elli is still in the checkout line playing with the toy camera. I tell her we have to put it back time to go. She refuses.
I tell her we have one at home that is much better.
She refuses.
After several minutes of trying to get a bit of cooperation I pry it from her hands and put it back.
What she really needs is a spanking... but not in Walmart.
I pick up the flailing, wailing child and do my best to carry her out and push/pull a full cart.
Things are not going well.
Get stopped at the door they want to check my receipt to make sure I paid for the new shoes that the tantrum throwing child is wearing.
I imagine that they were really trying to get a good camera shot of me just in case they needed to report a child abduction/child abuse situation to the police.
Elli is yelling things like, "put me down", "let me go" "don't take me"
What she really needs is a spanking... but not in Walmart.
After posing for my potential America's Most Wanted clip I leave only to be followed/escorted to the van by a cart corraler.
This is no easy task for him or me because there was a lot of stop and go trying to carry Elli who was doing a greased pig impersonation and pushing the cart was beyond difficult. After she almost falls struggling I set her down and tell her to walk. No go. She tries to bolt back to the store to get her toy camera, I grab her and then she sits down in the parking lot. Since Elli is prone to her elbow popping out of socket I can't just drag her along and have to be careful not to injure her when restraining her and this is getting very difficult.
What she really needs is a spanking... but not at Walmart.
Under the watchful eye of the cart man and probably all of Walmarts exterior cameras I loop my arms around her waist and carry her to the van arms flailing in front feet kicking in back screaming the whole way. I put her in seat and she pops out and tries to jump out the door.
I stop her.
What she really needs is a spanking... but not at Walmart.
I am sweating by now and remove my coat to prepare myself to wrestle her into the car seat and buckle her in.
I win, I get her buckled and safe in the seat. I did not lose my cool.
The cart guy continues to watch me as I load up my car. You can still hear Elli yelling even with the van doors closed.
She yells the whole way home.
I start to unbuckle her so Daddy can take care of her while I unload the care she fights me so I stop and leave her in the seat while I unload the van.
That done I have to finish getting her out because she risks strangling herself with the seat belt.
She fights me the whole way.
She hits and scratches me on the way into the house.
I go to the couch bend her over my knee and spank her well padded behind.
So she got her spanking... but not at Walmart.
The police have not called.
I am not on the news.
She did not get injured despite her many attempt to do so.
Jesse is going to the store next time sick or not.

Oh Renee. I am so sorry you had such a CRAPPY day. And I admire your restraint. I hope you are all feeling better by now.
