Time Flies

Fall was here.
The kids enjoyed it the few moments it stopped by.


Devonae raked this pile of leaves all by herself.
She was so proud of herself she told the neighbor who just got home from work to come and see it.
I don't know this neighbor and neither does she.
When she did not show up on our backyard after 10 minutes Devonae wanted to go knock on her door to remind her about her tremendous pile of leaves that just could not be missed.
I convinced her that while her pile was special the neighbor had other things to do.
She was consoled with a picture of the historic pile and the promise to show it off to family.

So here I am keeping my word.


Fall left and in came Winter.
Winter likes to stay for a long time here.

We interrupt this winter weather to bring you Christmas.

Christmas has come and gone and soon this year will be gone also.

Time flies.

I wonder if it ever lands anywhere?
